It is no doubt that Xiaomi is well known for its commendable work in the fast charging department, as it is always releasing new phones with charging speeds better than the other. They have also a 100W+ fast charging system announced for the upcoming Mi 11 Pro, as it could be an absolute game changer for the market.
Now the Chinese manufacturer has shown that it's working on a new 55W charger for its phones, and the company might start packing them with new flagships coming out, as well as upcoming Redmi phones. Currently, the best a Redmi phone can do in terms of charging speeds is 33W, and that too by the Redmi K30 Ultra. For Mi devices, it's mostly in the 50W range, although the Mi 10 Pro comes with a 65W fast charger - however, it still does 50W fast charging tops with the charger.
The new 55W charger could be a way more efficient and faster way to charge batteries in the future. The newer battery shows that Xiaomi is well-determined to work its way up in the fast charging department to be the market leader in the category for a long time.
