Xiaomi has made sure that it’s considered a threat in the smartphone market by its competitors and has been putting out incredible products for its consumers. Xiaomi was the first phone which featured 108MP phone when it launched the Mi Note 10 and then again with the Mi 10 Series. Now, according TO a new report, it has come to light that Xiaomi has been working on two different phones within a product variant.
The phones are code-named as Gauguin (the vanilla model) and Gauguin Pro (the advanced model) and two XDA members have uncovered that they will feature a 108MP camera. According to the leak through a beta version of MIUI 12 ROM, the Gauguin phone has a model number of J17 and is equipped with a 64MP sensor while the Gauguin Pro has a model number of J17Pro and is equipped with a 108MP sensor. It is also speculated that like its previous models, Xiaomi will use the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX in the Gauguin Pro model. Both phones are also set to be powered by an unknown Qualcomm processor.
While we do not know of the official date of the release of these phones, we can confidently say, through a source, that the release is drawing near as Xiaomi is gearing up to reveal a new Redmi Note 10 series in the coming months. In addition, the company is also bringing a new smartphone Mi Note which could be a part of the Mi CC series
