TSMC's Advanced Manufacturing Capacity Exceeds As Apple And Qualcomm Orders Rise

According to the Taiwan Economic Daily, orders from four significant customers, such as Apple, Qualcomm, AMD, and MediaTek, have flooded. TSMC's advanced process orders continue to be full. After this year, a "thousand-member team" will be sent to Nanke's factory to develop the production base process.

TSMC emphasized yesterday that the production of Nanke's plants is proceeding according to plan. According to local news in Tainan, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd., to enhance the production process. Five to six batches will be sent to Nanke, which consists of thousands of personnel.

IT House learned that TSMC's Nanke plant is a major production center for advanced manufacturing processes such as 5nm and 16nm. Taiwanese media pointed out that TSMC has previously planned that the third phase of the "Nanke's wafer fab 18" will be mass-produced this year. When the third phase of the plant is produced, the annual production capacity of 12-inch wafers will exceed 1 million, and employment will reach to 14,000 people.

According to industry sources, with the massive increase in film production, TSMC's advanced process order visibility has reached 2022 to 2023.
