TikTok is working on its music streaming service
TikTok is one of the most successful social media platforms, with over 1 billion users. To further capitalize on this strength ByteDance have even more exciting plans for the future, as they intend to launch a service that will offer streaming music on the model of Spotify.
The world of the music industry is no stranger to TikTok, as this platform has pushed many users to connect with new artists and get to know their songs better. According to a reputable insider, ByteDance has already filed a patent with an American agency called “TikTok Music”. According to a source, this service will enable users to buy, play, and download music, songs, albums and lyrics. At the same time, they will be able to perform live streaming and can comment on it. It’s worth noting that the company behind TikTok already runs a streaming app called Resso (which is only available in India, Brazil and Indonesia, though), and it portrays their expertise cater this market.
