Tecno has announced the release of the Tecno Spark Go. The phone is set to be as cheap as an Android can get, and we are super excited to dive deep into it.
Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of Transsion India, said in a statement;
"We are confident that SPARK Go 2020, with its strong play in the battery, display and camera departments at an unmatched price point, will continue SPARK series' stellar run and live up to our consumers' expectations."
The first thing that grabs your attention is the design. The plastic body has a polycarbonate rear panel which when tilted in multiple angles gives off a gradient effect. The phone is available in two colors; Aqua Blue and Ice Jadeite.
The Tecno Spark Go features a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 720x1600 resolution which is what you would expect to find in the given price range. A finger print scanner is found at on the back panel.
The phone runs on Android 10 (Go addition) with HiOs 6 promises to deliver fast launch time and claims to save up to 900MB of internal storage. It is equipped with 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio A20 quad-core SoC. In terms of memory, the phone has 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The memory is also expandable via a microSD card by up to 256GB.
It has a dual rear camera setup with a 13 mega pixel main camera rounded off with a depth-assist sensor. The front camera is an 8 mega pixel shooter. The phone features 4x zoom, dual flashlight and AI lens for a whole new upgraded photography experience.
The Tecno Spark Go houses a massive 5000 mAh battery which will easily last the whole day and is said to last through multiple hours of gaming, 24 hours calling and 36 days of standby.
The phone is set to release on 7th September and will retail for $90.
