For years the iPad has been the face of tablets, with no real competitor to it whatsoever. The fluidity, productivity and integration with other Apple products is second to none in iPads, making it the most popular computing tablet for a long time. However, things might change now with the introduction of the S7 tablet from Samsung that the company introduced in its Galaxy Unpacked event that was held yesterday. (5th August)
The S7 seems to be a formidable competitor to the iPad, as it combines plenty of computing power, along with a chunky battery and fast storage options. The base variant of the S7 comes with a 11 inch display, and it weighs 500g - not too shabby for a tablet. Moving on, you get the latest and most powerful chipset on the Android side of things, with the Snapdragon 865 Plus, along with 6 or 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.0 storage - all of which enhances the overall smoothness and speed of the device. The battery is also quite large, at 8,000 mAh with the ability to charge it at 45W power. You also get amazing loudspeakers tuned by AKG and Dolby ATMOS.
There are loads more features and specifications to talk about in the S7 tablet, as it looks like we finally have a worthy competitor to Apple in terms of tablets - and we haven’t even talked about the S-Pen yet. The base version of the tablet starts at 650 dollars, also making it a lot cheaper than Apple’s iPad Pro of 2020 as well. You won’t regret making this purchase.
