It’s become a known fact nowadays that budget phones are improving day by day, and they will soon become as good as the mid range phones of these days. Back in the day, mid range phones were nowhere near as good as flagship devices - but now, they provide performance of the highest order, decent displays and cameras that will confuse you whether the phone costs 300 dollars, or 1000 bucks. It’s inevitable that this trend will gradually trickle down to budget devices, and they’ll be able to play games like PUBG on high settings as well.
Following the same route is Samsung’s latest Galaxy M01s, which is retailing now in India for 135 dollars. The phone makes use of a Helio P22 chipset, 3GB of RAM, which isn’t going to make it the fastest phone on the market, but it’s still good enough for a phone of this price. Moreover, you’ll also get a 4000 mAh battery unit inside, which is going to last you 2 days easily considering the low quality display on the phone. There’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and the overall build quality of the phone seems decent for the price.
All in all, we expect Samsung to keep delivering such impressive phones at all sorts of price ranges, as the M01s certainly falls into the good side of phones rather than the negative side. Perhaps the biggest downside of the phone is the fact that it comes with Android 9 rather than 10, but maybe that’s to be expected at this price.
