It would be safe to say that PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular, if not the most popular gaming applications in Pakistan. It makes tons of revenue thanks to the players’ wanting to buy the in-game character and gun skins available which they want to show off in the battleground as they kill other enemies. PUBG Mobile was actually temporarily banned by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority for several weeks, which left gamers worrisome, some using the game as their main source of income through live streaming and what not.
Well, talking about using the game as a means of earning money, the Korean-based game is going to be providing Pakistani gamers with their own nationally aired tournament, which will have a prize money of a whopping, Rs. 10 Million, all to the winner of the tournament.
The registration for the tournament is fairly simple, as provided by Tencent gaming, the distributor and developer of PUBG Mobile in Pakistan amongst other regions. Firstly, you have to head on to the link here and fill the form to get your details in the database of the game. Next, you have to participate in the qualifier stages which will take place from the 17th of November, all the way till the 20th. If you manage to qualify with your squad, you will be contacted and will play the next stage of the knockout rounds of the tournament.
There is more exciting news about PUBG Mobile for Pakistani gamers, as announced by the developers, including an upcoming Urdu sound pack which can be chosen over the usual English in the game. Pakistanis have made up a large part of the game, and have a lot to do with a major amount of revenue generated for the game, and hence the developers are giving back to the players which help them make all this money in the first place!
