Realme is a tough competitor in the mid-range phone segment and is one of the key players in expanding 5G technology to budget smartphones. The Realme 7i is set to release on 17th September, as teased by Realme Indonesia and will sit with the recently released Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro. Thanks to previous leaks and Geekbench listing, we know of some of the key specifications coming with the phone.
We can expect to see a gorgeous 6.5-inch 90 Hz HD+ display which, while may not be an FDH+ display, will be quite smooth regardless. The phone will run on Android 10 (a pity as the Android 11 is already available) and packs the mid-range Snapdragon 662 SoC chip-set. The handset received 1,516 points on single-core tests and 5,420 in the multi-core segment.

The front camera is a 16MP camera and the phone includes a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. In terms of memory, the phone includes a generous 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD card. While the phone does not include the 65W fast-charging as seen in the Realme 7 Pro, it will still be able to charge its 5,000mAh battery with an 18W fast-charger. For a budget phone, we still think what you’re getting is pretty good.
The phone will officially be available on September 17th and its price will be bellow $200. It is expected to launch in two colors- Jade and Champaign
