The LG Velvet is one of the biggest news breakers in recent times for the smartphone industry, as it is certainly a different phone offered by LG compared to what they’ve been selling for the past years. The Velvet has a beautiful design aesthetic to it that would easily make it one of the best looking phones of the year, as it goes for a unique camera layout in the back – as it comes without a module, and the lenses look like a water drop falling downwards. You get top-notch specs here as well, with a gorgeous 6.8″ Full HD+ P-OLED display which looks absolutely stunning. You also get a powerful chipset in the Snapdragon 845 – which one might argue is a little outdated, but is nonetheless plenty fast still, and will easily allow you to play top level games without a hiccup. You also get a choice of 6 gigs of RAM, as it will be enough for your needs. There’s a 4,300mAh battery unit in the back as well, good enough to last a day on moderate usage. All in all, the Velvet is a great smartphone.
