Xiaomi is one of the biggest and most popular phone manufacturers in the world, as its phone line is considered to be on par if not better than the likes of Samsung, Huawei, and Apple. They really started their marketing strategy by providing users top of the line specs at half the prices of the flagships being sold in the market. This has helped them gain a massive amount of following as people use their devices all over the world. The Chinese manufacturer then released a sub brand of their own named Poco, as their first phone to come out was the Poco F1 or Pocophone - an almost budget priced phone with flagship grade specs, as it earned headlines all over the world.
Since then, the Poco label has gained a significant respect to its name, as it releases quality phones year after year, with the Poco F2 Pro being the latest of the bunch. Now there’s rumour about Poco releasing a new phone to rival the OnePlus Nord, the current mid range champ in the market, and try to best the efforts of their Chinese competitor. However, they will need to outdo themselves this time to beat the Nord, as it has the Snapdragon 765G, 90Hz AMOLED display, 8 gigs of RAM and a lot more to praise about. It seems like Poco will look to go for 120Hz on their upcoming device, and offer more bang for your buck than the Nord currently does - although we don’t know how they will pull that off.
Recently, Xiaomi may have confirmed the addition of a 120Hz display on their next device, as the tweet below suggests something along those lines.

Moreover, an executive level officer has actually hinted at an upcoming Poco device that will be better than the OnePlus Nord in every aspect, as he tweeted this from his personal account.

We will have to wait and see what Xiaomi and Poco have in mind for their next killer smartphone, but it seems like it’s going to be the next best mid range phone if things go well. Camera and screen is going to be of utter importance this time, as Xiaomi phones commonly nails everything else. The phone is going to drop in 2020, so you may want to start saving.
