Oppo is keen to make a name for itself in the mid range market, as it has in the flagship region. The company is looking to gain some ground and popularity, as companies like Xiaomi, Huawei and even Realme have overshadowed it to a good extent. Oppo hasn’t really wowed us with a value packed phone at an affordable price like the other manufacturers listed above, but that might change soon as they’re releasing an reasonably priced 5G enabled phone in the near future. We also saw a budget device being the A11K get released in Pakistan a few days ago, and we can’t wait for this new 5G phone, apparently called the A92 5G, to get released here as well.
The phone showed up on Tenna’s database, as the phone wasn’t given a name there. However, after leaks and rumours from Twitter, we got to know that the phone will be called the A92 5G. Oppo is going to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset inside the phone, which is a decent competitor to the Snapdragon 765G, though not as powerful or efficient. Considering that the phone will be priced around 50000 Rupees when it does come to Pakistan, and for that price the performance is going to be impressive. You’ll also get a 4035 mAh battery, which seems small for 2020 standards, but it will support 18W fast charging, which has become the norm for mid range devices these days.
Although we don’t have more information about the upcoming 5G device from Oppo, we’ll keep you updated whenever we get more juice on the subject. We can expect the device to get unveiled fully by Oppo in the coming months, and get released in the near future as well.
