According to a source, the iPhone 14 Pro model will see a $100 price increase compared to the iPhone 13 Pro model.
According to the supply chain, even if it increases by $100, the price/performance ratio of the iPhone 14 is still higher than that of the Android flagship, because they were also increasing its price and have lost their price/performance ratio.
The source said that while the basic iPhone 14 will remain the same price but we believe that the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max will increase by $100 to $1,099 and $1,199, respectively, given the increase in component prices and the addition of newly released features.
Last week, an analyst also claimed that there might be a “price increase” for the iPhone 14 Pro models, suggesting they will be more expensive than the iPhone 13 Pro models. He did not disclose the exact pricing but said that the average selling price of the entire iPhone 14 series, including low-end models, will increase by about 15%.
According to a rumour, the iPhone 14 Pro model will use a new pill-shaped + circular hole to replace the original bangs, a faster A16 chip, faster memory, an upgraded 48-megapixel rear camera, support for 8K video recording and an always-on display showing the time, date, and iOS 16’s new lock screen widget and battery percentage icon.
The iPhone 14 Pro may start with 256 GB of storage, helping to justify more price hikes, but one analyst thinks that the 128 GB variant will also be a part of the launch.
