According to China Securities Information, current sources show that Huawei will begin to push the Hongmeng Harmony OS 2.0, the third-largest mobile phone operating system outside Android and iOS, on a large scale as early as June.
According to reports, Huawei has selected the top 200 manufacturers in the Chinese application market for download and use in terms of software partners. It has now confirmed that about 70% of the initial cooperation has been established. It will further expand the cooperation with the planned push of the Hongmeng system. Relevant partners will usher in opportunities.
In late April, some Huawei users have received the push of the HarmonyOS 2.0 developer public beta. The official description shows that HarmonyOS is a new generation of the intelligent terminal operating system, which provides a unified language for the intelligence, interconnection and collaboration of different devices, and brings users a simple, smooth, continuous, safe and reliable full-scene interactive experience.
Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei's consumer business software department and director of the AI and smart full-scenario business department, said at the beginning of last month that Huawei mobile phones would upgrade the Hongmeng system (consumer side) from early June.
In addition, he also believes that mobile phones, Pads and other IoT devices equipped with Hongmeng OS will exceed 300 million by the end of the year. It is said that Hongmeng OS is oriented to all devices and can be multi-terminally transferred and deployed. It is a new intelligent terminal operating system, different from the traditional concept of iOS and Android systems.
Earlier, Huawei's vice chairman and rotating chairman Hu Houkun stated that HarmonyOS had attracted more than 20 hardware vendors and 280 application vendors to participate in ecological construction. In the next step, it is planned to launch the Hongmeng operating system on mobile phones.
