According to China Business News, Duan Mengran - Vice President of Huawei's consumer business, announced the Harmony OS meta service at an event in Guangzhou and said: Harmony OS Developer Beta 3 will be released from March 31. Updates will be pushed from today.


On December 16 last year, Huawei Hongmeng OS officially released the Beta version for mobile phone developers. On February 22 this year, Huawei's consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong stated to the outside that starting from April this year, Huawei's flagship phones can gradually upgrade Harmony OS. Huawei Mate X2 will be the first upgrade.

According to the introduction of the on-site staff, the report also said that the official launch of Hongmeng's commercial operation will be carried out in April at the earliest and no later than mid-year at the latest. The reporter saw in the live demonstration that the Hongmeng mobile phone can be connected with home audio and video, fitness equipment, and small household appliances. The relevant functions can be quickly activated by just touching it with the mobile phone. The staff also said that the Hongmeng mobile phone system's current iteration speed is one version a month, and the internal evolution of the overall design is still accelerating.

According to the previously exposed adaptation plan, Hongmeng OS 2.0 will begin adapting and updating in April. The first batch of updated models is Huawei Mate X2, Huawei Mate 40 series, and Huawei P40 series.
