Google Pixel 6 Uses Self-Developed SoC: GPU Is The Same As Galaxy S21

Samsung and Huawei in the Android camp use self-developed mobile phone chips in their models. Now Google is also heading to join the self-developed design.

On May 27th, Android Authority reported, a Google employee suggested that Google's new product, ‘P21’, uses the Mali-G78 GPU, which is the GPU used in the Samsung Galaxy S21 Exynos version.

The ‘P21’ here should refer to ‘Pixel 2021’, the rumoured Google Pixel 6, which means that Google Pixel 6 will use the same GPU as the Samsung Galaxy S21.

We know that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Exynos version is equipped with an Exynos 2100 processor, and the GPU is Mali-G78 MP14. We are not sure what the number of GPU cores in Google Pixel 6 is.

However, compared to the Snapdragon 765G chip used in the previous generation of Google Pixel 5, the GPU performance of Google Pixel 6 will be significantly improved, which will be the first echelon level of the Android camp.

As usual, the Google Pixel 6 series will debut around October and will be the first to carry the official version of the Android 12 operating system.
