Galaxy Watch 3 Image Leaked

Over the years, Samsung has not only been successful in the smartphone market, but it has its arms deep in other tech categories as well, such as Smart TVs, home appliances, and lastly smartwatches. Smartwatches haven’t really been that impressive from a lot of manufacturers trying to enter the market. Most of us only think about Apple Watch when someone mentions smartwatches, because that’s the only decent option available in the market. However, that was the case until Samsung arrived with its own line of smartwatches from 2013 onwards. They’ve made great watches that could directly rival those from Apple, and would easily be the best option for you if you’ve got an Android mobile phone. The Korean manufacturer seems to be returning with a bang once again, with the upcoming Galaxy Watch 3, which will be a successor to the Galaxy Watch Active 2, which was easily the option you could go for in a smartwatch if you weren’t an Apple phone user.

Leaks have surfaced from South Korea’s NRRA website, which provides certifications for smartwatches, and what we can tell right off the bat is the fact that the Watch 3 will be bringing back the rotating bezel, something that wasn’t present in the previous iteration of their smartwatch series. These leaks were acquired by MySmartPrice, and all image credits go to them. It seems as if Samsung will be releasing two versions of the watch, with one having a 1.2” display, and the other one sporting a larger 1.4” one. Similarly, the premium version will likely have a bigger battery, reported at 340 mAh, with the cheaper one having a 247 mAh battery cell. Both these watches will also run on Samsung’s own OS that’s compatible with Android apps, which is called Tizen.

We can also expect the watches to be one of the best for Android phone users, if not the best, because that’s usually been the case with most Galaxy watches we’ve come across so far. An official announcement will likely be made in an event that Samsung holds to reveal their new Note phone series as well.
