On April 22, Brydge launched a new Apple 12.9-inch iPad Pro keyboard, just in time for Apple's new iPad Pro release. Brydge 12.9 Max + has a redesigned hinge, rear protection and a vast multi-touch pad.
The brand new 12.9 Max + cancels the iconic Brydge hinge and replaces it with an integrated magnetic backplate. Use the magnet built into the back of the iPad Pro to connect, eliminating the need to use old clips. At the same time, it can also protect the iPad.
In addition to the new magnetic SnapFit design, Brydge has also greatly expanded the size of the multi-touch trackpad, which has twice the surface area of Brydge Pro +.
Compared to Apple's Magic Keyboard, Brydge 12.9 Max+ provides similar front and back protection when closed, backlit keys and magnetic connections, but has a larger trackpad and is $100 cheaper. However, Apple's Magic Keyboard has an additional USB-C port for charging.
Other features are; backlit keys with three levels of brightness, a whole row of dedicated function keys for iPad, one charge that can provide three months of battery life, and a new Bluetooth mode to maintain a longer connection time, not in use.
IT Home understands that Brydge's 12.9 Max + is suitable for the third, fourth and fifth-generation iPad Pro 12.9 inches. It is now available for pre-order for US$249.99 (approximately RMB 1624.85) and will start shipping in June.
