Samsung proves in practice how much it supports its products even after their first day of release, as it invests heavily in future security (or not) updates of a device. After-sales support reaches levels that even Google does not get on its Pixel phones. It indicates above that after 4 years, and the Korean company decided to end support on the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Now, as it became known, the Admiralties that made their debut in April 2017 will not be on the list of devices that will receive security updates. However, the S8 Active and S8 Lite will continue to be normally supported. As you know, support for models that have completed their life cycle does not last forever. However, Samsung seems to honour (and more) the users who prefer it, as it is the only one that does such good support on mobile its products after so long since their initial release. At this stage, both the S9 and S9 + will receive latest updates, unlike the S10, which still receive security updates on an almost monthly basis.
